Free vs Premium, and managing your subscription
What each tier includes
- Free: 1 Workout Route and 5 Music Moments — enough to build one full route and use every feature of the app.
- Premium: unlimited Workout Routes and unlimited Music Moments.
When you hit a free-tier limit — creating a second route, or a sixth Music Moment — the app shows the upgrade screen instead. On the free tier, Moments beyond the fifth are saved but do not trigger during workouts.
Pricing
Premium costs $1.99/month with a 7-day free trial, or $14.99/year. It is sold only through the iOS App Store as an in-app purchase, billed to your Apple ID — this website never handles payments. Prices in other regions are set by the App Store in your local currency.
How to subscribe
- In the app, open the Profile tab and tap the upgrade option in the subscription section (the upgrade screen also appears when you hit a free-tier limit).
- Choose monthly or yearly, then confirm the purchase with your Apple ID (Face ID / Touch ID).

The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
How to manage or cancel
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not inside this website. Any of these paths works:
- iPhone Settings: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → On Cue Music Player → Cancel Subscription (or switch between monthly and yearly).
- App Store app: tap your profile picture → Subscriptions → On Cue Music Player.
- In the app: Profile → subscription section → Manage Subscription, which opens the same Apple management screen.
Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge; you keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — always cancel through the App Store. Refund requests are also handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restore Purchases (new phone or reinstall)
If you reinstall the app or move to a new iPhone, your Premium subscription is still attached to your Apple ID. Open the upgrade screen (Profile → subscription section) and tap Restore Purchases to reactivate it. Note: routes and Music Moments are stored only on the device — restoring the subscription does not bring back data from an old install. See troubleshooting for details.
If your subscription lapses
Nothing is deleted. Your routes and Moments stay on the device, but free-tier limits apply again: only your oldest route remains accessible, and Moments beyond the free limit stop triggering. Resubscribing — or tapping Restore Purchases after a billing hiccup — restores full access to everything you built.
